What We Can Learn From The Habits Of Genius ALBERT EINSTEIN: This may very helpful for your brain

Albert Einstein was not only one of the greatest minds of our time but also a bit eccentric with numerous quirky habit. Some of which surprisingly turned to be very useful for the brain.

Einstein slept for at least 10 hr per night

It's common knowledge that sleep is good for your brain but for Albert Einstein, this time was really special, supposedly his theory on 'special relativity' came to him while he was dreaming. This is a common story behind numerous great achievements including Mendeleev's periodic table and Watson's structure of DNA. Well this is a another thing but...

A good sleep keeps the brain healthy by clearing out toxins that naturally build up throughout the day. It also improves your immune functions and effects your emotions and social interaction.

If you're having trouble getting a good night's sleep, there are some tips to sleep better at night.
  1. Make sure you get enough sunlight during the day, especially if you have severe sleep issue or insomnia.
  2. Exercise Daily! But not too close to bedtime.
  3. Avoid caffeine and nicotine late in the day.
  4. Try to keep a regular sleep routine - this helps the body know it's time to sleep.
  5. Don't eat late in the morning.

Einstein's daily walk was sacred to him

While he was working at Princeton, he'd walk the mile and a half journey there and back.
Other outstanding scientists like Nikola Tesla and Charles Darwin used to walk 17 miles every day and three 45 minutes walk every day respectively.

The walk can boost memory, creativity, and problem-solving. It distracts the brain from more cerebral tasks, so it adopts a totally different style of thinking.

We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.  -Albert Einstein-

Einstein was fond of playing the VIOLIN

Albert Einstein also began to receive the lesson in playing the violin around the age of six, lasting until he was 14. He proved to have musical talent and enjoyed music until the end of his life both as a listener and as a player of the violin and later the piano.

If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music. The most joy in my life has come to me from music.   -Albert Einstein-
Playing an instrument could be amazing training for the brain. It involves hand-eye coordinate, listening skills, concentration, and memory...
Classic music helps reduce stress by lowering cortisol level in the body.

Einstein loved spaghetti

My favorite things about Italy are spaghetti and [mathmatician] Levi-Civita.  -Albert Einstein-
He loved mushrooms, spaghetti and fettuccine. His favorite fruit was strawberries and his favorite dessert was orange cake.

Our brain consumes 20% of the body's energy. carbohydrates in pasta are a great way to feed our energy-hungry brains.

Einstein didn't wear socks

When I was young, I found out that the big toe always ends up making a hole in socks. So I stop wearing socks.  -Albert Einstein-
It is not about wearing socks but it's about your comfort. It is easier to think properly when your feet are in comfort, No matter what is the comfort for you.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.   -Albert Einstein-
